Opening Day is a great reminder of our long Club history. Over 130 years of sailing and shared experience have bound generations of family and club members. Many of us grew up through the Junior Program and spent much of our life racing, cruising or just out on the water with friends.
The SDYC Sailing Foundation was formed to support our Club life by ensuring access to quality sailing instruction and equipment. In addition to supporting the Junior program, our outreach extends to the San Diego community. We provide grants to high school sailing programs, sponsor racing and offer sailing scholarships to include youth who otherwise might not have an opportunity to learn to sail.
All of these efforts lead to a stronger membership and a better Club life. We thank you for your continued support of the SDYC Sailing Foundation and its efforts.
