On behalf of the La Jolla High School Sailing Team I would like to, again, thank you for your support for the 2024/25 season. Grants such as this make all the difference in enabling us to sail competitively.
This past weekend we sailed two boats in SoCal #3 at Mission Bay Yacht Club and can report the experience was great for us as we strive to improve our tactics and on the fly corrections in changing conditions. We are also gearing up for the upcoming January 4-5 PCISA 3/5 "Rose Bowl" as well as PCISA 4/5 "Golden Bear" to be held @ Encinal Yacht Club February 22-23, 2025. Your support will help get us there. Without it, total team expense, particularly for distance regattas, might prove cost prohibitive. Further, it would deny us the opportunity to be competitive in our fleet if we were not able to participate.
Per your request I have attached a team photo, absent one member. Once I have a complete team photo I will send that your way and also keep you posted as our season unfolds.
SDYCSF grant support has enabled the La Jolla High Sailing Team to pursue opportunities that otherwise would have been unavailable. We are very grateful.
